A fast moving clipper system moved through the area late afternoon and evening producing a brief period of moderate snowfall mainly between 3 and 7pm. Snowfall amounts ranged from less than an inch south buts to around inches north. With the cold temperatures, everyone needed to do some scraping and plowing.
Officially ORD received 1.6 inches, Rockford 1.1 and Romeoville ,5
