STORM SUMMARY 2-14-2015
An arctic cold front advanced through the area between 5-7pm. A batch of flurries and snow showers accompanied this feature. The activity spread into the area between 4-6pm and diminished to flurries by mid morning. Winds increased with the passage of this system as winds gusted 40-50 mph throughout the area. These strong winds pretty much blew any snow off the surfaces. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 20s prior to the frontal passage and by 9-10am readings were In the 8-10 range. Speaking of the snow, the majority of the area only reported trace amounts but there were a few spots that received some brief heavier snow showers that produced light amounts. Officially ORD had .2, Rockford a trace, Romeoville .2 If your location or locations are not listed below, only trace amounts were reported.

Eventually into portions of Lake County as well afternoon. The last of the
