Light snow began 9-11pm. activity shriveled across the area by 2am on 3-3.
Additional areas of light snow and flurries developed 5-7am. this activity was then
Off and on until 6-8pm. Activity was heaviest northwest Indiana to south of I80.
Many road surfaces remained just wet north of I80 during the duration of the event. This was mostly a salting operation north of I80. Officially ORD had .8 snow which pushed the season total to 29.3 Rockford had .6 for the 2 day total.
