Light snow began late morning. Snow diminished to flurries and freezing
Drizzle 8-10pm. This activity diminished early to mid am on 2-15. Snow amounts averaged1.5 to 3 inches in the Chicago area and 2-4 inches DeKalb, La Salle, Kendall and Grundy Counties. This was a fairly long duration event for these light
Amounts. Southeast winds resulted in blowing snow on open areas particularly away from the lake. Officially ORD had 2.4 inches which pushed the monthly total To 3.4 inches and the season total to 25.4. The 25 inch threshold met with this system on the 14th. Rockford had 2.3 inches with a month to date 3.0 and season to Date 20.6 Romeoville had 2.3. Monthly total is 3.6 and season 19.4
