Was mainly south of I80 but Rockford and Chicago each received a plowable
Snowfall. Light snow spread into the area from south to north during the
Evening and early night hours. By midnight, ORD had received .2 of snow and
Rockford registered only a trace. Snow increased in intensity as forecast
After 4-5am. There was about a 4 hour duration of moderate snowfall across the
Area. This was followed by occasional light snow until late afternoon and
evening. The official snowfall totals were: ORD 4”, RFD 2.5 and Romeoville 5.6
