Snow spread into the area between 10am and noon. The snow diminished by 9pm. This was a plowable snow event. Average amounts 2-4 inches for the area. Temperatures were in the teens at the onset and readings nudged up towards 20 Mid to late afternoon. Snowfall amounts were much higher south of I80 where there were 5-7 inche totals La Salle, Livingston and Grundy Counties including parts of Will. The official snowfall totals; ORD 2.4 RFD 2.4 and Romeoville 2.2 inches
