A clipper type system spread and area of light snow over the area between 8-10pm

Flurries and snow showers occurred off and on until evening. Most areas only received trace amounts and required no work but there were some isolated bursts of snow showers mid to late afternoon that did result in some light accumulation. Temperatures were in the mid teens so this light accumulation did require some salting. I will only put down the cities that reported measurable snowfall below.

A freezing rain advisory was issued for the entire area from 9am to 9pm. Snow, sleet and freezing rain began between 11am and 1pm. Air and surface temps were both below freezing which resulted in slick surfaces. Pre- salting was encouraged for street departments as well as for commercial services that had clients open for
