Radar shows some light returns over parts of southern Wisconsin southward to about I80. Most of this is not reaching the ground as the air mass is still rather
Dry. The few stronger returns seem to be generating some isolated areas of flurries And very light snow. It’s possible that some surfaces could get dusted up a bit but Most areas that have some flakes actually reach the ground will only experience Trace amounts. This activity is expected to be out of the area by 11pm or midnight. The current cloud cover has prevented temps from dropping much so far tonight. Rockford is still at 30, ORD 30 MDW 32 ARR 31 UGN 30 PWK 30 JOT 31. Surface pavement temps are running right around 30 as well. Any salt residue will More than likely take care of the situation tonight. Overnight temps are still expected to get down to around 22 with a high Wednesday 33-34 with some sunshine.
