STORM SUMMARY 3-27-2015
An area of lake effect snow slid down from the Wisconsin shoreline into northeast Illinois. The snow began 2-3am over the eastern parts of Lake and Cook Counties. The snow fanned out westward over DuPage and Will Counties after 5-6am. The snow diminished by mid morning all areas. The accumulating snow remained east of Rte 59. Officially ORD received .6 snow Rockford a trace, Romeoville .9. This brought ORD snowfall for the season to 50.7 Romeoville 36.4. Once again, salting and plowing was need in the snow areas.
