A period of snow and snow showers early am produced .5 to 1.5 inches mainly north of I90 to Trace amounts near the I88 corridor. This required salting and even some plowing in some areas in the snow area. This was a short duration event between 4-6am Chicago area and 2-4am Rockford area.
